Alongside large-scale live events, I have been deeply involved in the creation and development of immersive festival and performance experiences across Spain, with a strong focus on audience interaction, live storytelling, and emotional connection.
One of the central projects is Odessa Pryvoz — an immersive cultural festival inspired by Odesa, Ukrainian traditions, local humour, food culture, and the atmosphere of community gathering. Developed across multiple editions in Barcelona, Alicante, and Valencia, the project was created as both a live entertainment experience and a cultural space where people could reconnect, communicate, and feel a sense of home during an extremely difficult period for many displaced Ukrainians.
In parallel, I have also worked on immersive theatre and live surrealist performance projects in Barcelona, including large-scale experimental events combining performance art, live interaction, visual storytelling, improvisation, and audience participation.
My role combines creative direction, immersive production, performer coordination, live scripting, timing supervision, and audience experience design. I work closely with the core creative team to translate conceptual ideas into fully functioning live experiences, while coordinating performers, assistants, and production structures during both preparation and execution.
A key aspect of these projects is the removal of the traditional “fourth wall.” Guests do not simply observe the event — they become active participants within a living environment shaped through improvisation, interaction, character work, and evolving narrative moments.
Working within immersive performance requires flexibility, rapid decision-making, and constant adaptation in live environments where audience behaviour, timing, and performance energy continuously evolve throughout the event.
Across multiple editions, these projects have attracted large international audiences, generated significant public engagement, and developed strong returning communities around the experiences. The productions continue to evolve through expanding creative collaborations and growing interest in immersive cultural formats.
This work significantly influenced my understanding of cinematic storytelling, live directing, and emotional audience engagement, strengthening my interest in combining immersive performance with film and visual narrative.
